Teen shot in Garfield dropped off at children's hospital

PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was shot in the abdomen Sunday in Pittsburgh’s Garfield neighborhood.

Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 5300 block of Rosetta Street around 9:15 p.m.

Shortly afterward, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC reported the teenager had been dropped off at the emergency room entrance with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim was last reported to be in stable condition.

Police said the shooting happened in the 400 block of North Aiken Street.

Police are investigating.
