ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — Thieves broke through the window of two Aliquippa churches over the weekend and stole money and other items.

Channel 11's Jennifer Tomazic reported that Deliverance Temple Church of God and Christian Lighthouse were both burglarized.

In both cases, church officials said the burglars broke through glass windows to get inside.

Deliverance Temple Church of God officials said this was the second burglary in as many weeks.

A laptop computer was stolen during the first burglary and money from a safe and candy machine were stolen during the second.

Tomazic reported that the burglars ransacked the sanctuary and damaged the pastor's office.

It was not clear what the thieves stole at Christian Lighthouse or if the burglaries are related.
