FULTON COUNTY, Ind. — There was tragedy this morning at an Indiana school bus stop.
Three children were hit and killed while boarding a bus in Fulton County. Officials say the bus' stop-arm was out when a vehicle headed in the opposite direction hit the children.
The three children who died are all from the same family.

"Preliminary indications indicate that children were getting on a school bus. The school bus had stopped with the stop-arm activated facing north bound as the students entered the road to get onto the school bus a south bound vehicle struck four children fatally injuring three of them. At this time one child has been airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital," Sgt. Tony Slocum of the Indiana State Police told WNDU.
The accident is under investigation.
