There were about 12 passengers on the bus heading outbound, but no one was injured on the bus.

Channel 11 crews observed a sedan that appeared to crash into the back of the bus, and that vehicle has a tarp over it. Port Authority officials confirmed the driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police chief said he believes the 50-year-old driver may have had a medical emergency because, so far, they haven’t found any evidence the car’s brakes were engaged.

The driver of the car was identified by the medical examiner Wednesday night as Anthony John Diulus, 50 of Pittsburgh.
