HARMAR TOWNSHIP, Pa. — SWAT officers, police and emergency officials swarmed the UPMC outpatient facility on Freeport Road in Harmar Township on Tuesday.
The Harmar police chief said they got a call from a man who said he had access to a number of weapons.
SWAT officers spent over an hour convincing him to come outside.
Police said they took the man to the hospital.
They discovered he never had any weapons, and no one else was inside the building.
