15-year-old charged in deadly shooting of Allegheny County man

HOMESTEAD, Pa. — Allegheny County police have charged a 15-year-old in connection with a deadly shooting that happened in February.

Corey Mickens, 15, is charged with criminal homicide after police said he shot and killed Tre’Quan Embry, 22, on Feb. 2 on East 17th Avenue in Homestead.

Mickens is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail on unrelated charges.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call police.
