Neither driver was injured.
Five students from Wesley Spectrum School were on the bus.
The 16-year-old was taken to a hospital with bumps and bruises, police said. The four other students were not hurt and were put on another bus and taken to school. Both drivers were not hurt.
"What was heartwarming is that we had a lot of help in a hurry," said Castle Shannon police Chief Ken Truver. "It came in as a bus accident. We didn't know if there were a lot injured. My first officer on scene said there was a military man in his fatigues jumped out right away to help traffic."

Channel 11's Jennifer Tomazic found out this is an area on Route 88 that neighbors are concerned about.
"They have that center turning lane where people are supposed to make a left or right or whatever, and they use it to drive up and avoid traffic," said Ron Carso, who lives nearby. "It's just an accident looking for a place to happen."
The student has been released from the hospital.
