17-year-old flown to Pittsburgh hospital after falling from Buttermilk Falls

BEAVER CO., Pa. — A 17-year-old had to be flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after falling from Buttermilk Falls in Beaver County, officials said.

According to investigators, emergency crews were called to the scene around 8 p.m. Wednesday after the teen fell.

The victim -- who was not identified -- was flown to the hospital and was listed in stable condition. The details on what led to the accident are still unclear.

Where the teen fell is Buttermilk Falls, which is near Route 18 in Beaver Falls.

This is the second time in less than a week that someone has fallen there. On June 14, a girl was rescued after falling over a cliff in Buttermilk Falls Park.
