Vets believe each animal died from starvation, with no signs of other illnesses or conditions.

Investigators found the dead animals Sunday after receiving a tip, and now humane officers think the animals were left with no food or water for about a month.

Cronin was arraigned Wednesday and is awaiting a preliminary hearing on Jan. 22.
