6 people, including child, injured in Westmoreland County crash

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Six people, including a young boy, were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Westmoreland County on Thursday evening, according to our Trib news partners. 

The crash happened on Route 136 at East Side Drive in Hempfield Township around 6:50 p.m., according to 911 dispatchers.

The young boy was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital and five other people were transported to a hospital in by ambulance, according to the Trib.
