Arrest made in shooting in Cranberry Township

CRANBERRY TOWSHIP, Pa. — Cranberry Township police arrested Kahlil Tavarus Shelton for shooting a man Monday night on Marshall Road.  Investigators are still searching for two other men who ran away from the scene.

"It's very unusual. We don't believe any of the residents have any cause for alarm at this time. We believe this was a targeted crime," said Sgt Chuck Mascellino, of the Cranberry Township Police Department.

Shelton was taken into custody in McKeesport on Tuesday afternoon.  He's facing several charges including attempted homicide, aggravated assault and robbery.
