Ben Roethlisberger Foundation giving grants to eight K-9 programs

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s foundation is giving grants to eight police and fire K-9 programs.

Funding is going to the Borough of Homestead Police, the City of Beaver Falls Fire Department, the City of Butler Police Department, the Columbiana Police Department, the Connellsville Police Department, the Martins Ferry Police Department, the Indiana Township Police Department and the Uniontown City Police Department, the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation announced Monday.

According to Roethlisberger’s foundation, the departments will use the grants for a variety of K-9-focused initiatives.
