PITTSBURGH — A car rolled over and three people were hurt after a multi-vehicle crash inside the Liberty Tunnel Saturday.
According to police, the crash happened in the outbound lanes of the tunnel around 2 p.m.

Investigators said a vehicle tried to make a lane change inside the tunnels, clipped one car, swerved into another lane and struck a second vehicle – causing it to roll.
Three people inside the car that rolled over were taken to UPMC Mercy with minor injuries. A dog in the vehicle was not injured.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that initiated the crash was not hurt, but a passenger suffered a broken nose.
The outbound lanes of the tunnel were closed for a brief time while crews cleared the scene, but it reopened shortly after the crash.
