PITTSBURGH — Vice President Mike Pence had a late lunch with Sean Parnell, republican challenger for the 17th congressional district seat, when he was in Pittsburgh on Friday.

Parnell is taking on congressman Conor Lamb in perhaps one of the most important districts of Decision 2020.

It was President Donald Trump who convinced Parnell to run.

“President Trump came to the district, and gave some big raucous speech at the Marcellus Shale Coalition and sort of called me out to run and so, I answered the call to duty,” Parnell said.

Channel 11’s Katherine Amenta sat down for a conversation with the political newcomer to find out his message to voters. Watch the exclusive interview in the video above.
