The child who was killed Thursday afternoon has been identified as Jayden Montegomery, 8, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office.
"He's a fun little boy; he had his whole life in front of him," said neighbor Robert Harmon. "It's sad this happened."

Officials said the boy was riding a bike with a friend when the crash happened around 2 p.m. The other boy was not hurt.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene, and it was not immediately clear if the driver will be cited or if speed was a factor.
Witnesses told Channel 11 they saw the boys riding up and down the street all afternoon.
"They came down like they always do every day and next thing I know, I heard sirens," Harmon said. "Just tragic."
Another neighbor, Amy Robinson, said the boys "were just casually riding."

The speed limit on the road is 25 miles per hour, but neighbors told Channel 11 that many people drive much faster.
"If somebody wants to go fast, they're going to go fast. Living here my whole life, they will fly up this road," Robinson said.
Harnon pleaded with drivers to slow down on Spring Garden Avenue.
"It's 25, not 45 (miles per hour). This should be a lesson for everybody. Just slow down. What if this was your kids?" he said.
