Christopher Columbus statue in Pittsburgh vandalized

PITTSBURGH — The Christopher Columbus statue in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood has been vandalized.

The statue is at the edge of Schenley Park, near the corner of Schenley Drive and Frew Street.

The word “colonizer" is seen spray-painted in red on the side.
