Convicted sex offender pleads guilty to child porn charges

SEWICKLEY, Pa. — A Sewickley man has pleaded guilty to child porn charges.

In August 2016, Channel 11 reported that investigators found Robert Hegner had more than a thousand inappropriate pictures and videos on his computer inside his Sewickley home.

Hegner will be sentenced in February.

He already had two previous convictions of sex crimes against children.

He told authorities that he molested five or six other children, but he was never caught.
