Lawrenceville also put together a community response team, which pairs volunteers with at-risk residents who need essentials like food and prescriptions during the pandemic.

Garing said so far he’s been blown away by his community’s response, but the need continues.

The executive director of Lawrenceville United, a nonprofit, said they’ve already paired 60 volunteers with residents.
