MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A crash early Monday morning in Marshall Township sent two people to the hospital and knocked out power in the area, officials said.
The crash was reported about 1 a.m. on Shenot Road, which was closed.
A pole was sheared, and wires were left dangling after the crash.

Due to the power outage caused by the crash, the North Allegheny School District decided to close Marshall Elementary School and Marshall Middle School. A 2-hour delay had initially been issued.
The conditions of the two people who were hurt in the crash have not been made available.
