East Carson Street in South Side reopens after crash

PITTSBURGH — A portion of East Carson Street on Pittsburgh’s South Side has reopened following a crash Wednesday morning.

911 dispatchers said the crash happened around 2 a.m.

The road was closed between Becks Run Road and 33rd Street.

911 dispatchers said a car crashed into a telephone pole, and that one person was taken to a hospital.

The extend of the person’s injuries is unknown.
