Developers taking another shot at redeveloping Wholey’s building in Strip District

PITTSBURGH — Two months after the city rejected a design for the Wholey’s building in the Strip District, developers are taking another shot at it.

The Planning Commission rejected the original design or the fact that it was 21-stories tall.

The new plans have the building divided into four towers, but the new design has the building two stories taller. The plans will be submitted next week.
