The Mercer County District Attorney may be on the wrong side of the law, and Tuesday afternoon, Miles Karson faced a judge.
Karson is not going down without a fight as he continues to come to work and practice every day amid the criminal allegations made against him.
He faces charges from the Attorney General's Office alleging that he used his job as the top lawyer in town -- and his influence -- to obstruct justice.

Agents say the DA did all he could to get his girlfriend out of criminal trouble not once, but many times.
In court, agents testified that Karson made phone calls to judges and police officers and came to police scenes that involved his girlfriend, Tonya Bulboff.
Agents claim the DA asked for favors, like not sending Bulboff to jail when she was charged with stealing and forging checks.
In court, attorneys for the AG's office played jail house conversations between the DA and Bulboff.
They claim the DA used a false name when he called in to the jail to talk to Bulboff, who has a drug history and criminal background.
The hearing was more than 3 1/2 hours long.
The charges were held for court. Karson is not stepping down.
