PITTSBURGH — Businesses in Pittsburgh say after the long holiday weekend, they’re starting to feel a summer resurgence.

“Everybody is out with their family, saying we’re back, we’re living our lives, we’re celebrating together, we’re going to have a great time,” explained Cory Jones, the manager at Brew Gentlemen.

Crowds of people packed Point State Park for the Holiday weekend and businesses say they felt a boost they’ve been dreaming of for over a year.

“To be a part of that kind of resurgence, it feels right, it feels good,” Jones explained.

The best part? The local businesses and the community both feel that they are proud to come out and help the Steel City shine even brighter.
