Drugs off Mt. Oliver streets, nearly 50 people facing charges in connection to investigation

PITTSBURGH — More than $100,000 worth of drugs is off the streets and nearly 50 people are facing drug charges in connection to a Mt. Oliver police investigation.

Police said the investigation took a year.

28 of the suspects were arrested over the weekend. Officers found fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and prescription pills.

Police said the suspects all sold drugs to undercover officers during the course of the investigation.
