Election Day is coming up in Pennsylvania; do you have your voting plan ready?

PENNSYLVANIA — The next election in Pennsylvania is on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Registered voters can vote in person at their polling place on Election Day.

The lobby will be open tomorrow from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Sunday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Just a reminder: Allegheny County voters can drop off their mail-in ballots in the lobby of the county office building downtown.

Individuals wishing to register to vote in the Nov. 2 election must be:

  • A citizen of the United States for at least one month before the election.
  • A resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which the individual wants to register and vote for at least 30 days before the election.
  • At least 18 years of age on or before the date of the election.

However, if you apply to vote by mail but change your mind, make sure to bring your mail ballot materials to the polls to cast your ballot in person.
