ARNOLD, Pa. — A father and son from the Arnold area are accused of kidnapping a young woman and refusing to let her leave their home for eight weeks.
The young woman told police Brian and Nick Gouza broke into the Leishman Avenue apartment where she was staying in early September and dragged her outside. She said Nick Gouza threw her over his shoulder and forced her into a car. The woman said she was pregnant.
The woman told police she was able to escape the Gouza’s home on Woodmont Avenue in New Kensington when police were called there for a disturbance. She said she was constantly being watched and held against her will.
Brian Gouza is the Assistant Fire Chief of Arnold Volunteer Fire Department #1 and the chief confirmed he was suspended pending the outcome of court proceedings.
His son, Nick Gouza, is only 16 but is being tried as an adult because of a previous incident for involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child.
Brian Gouza said through his lawyer he does not a have a statement at this time.
