MOUNT PLEASANT, Pa. — Loved ones say a Westmoreland County woman was killed by the man who did her nails.
Police say she was stabbed to death and then her killer hanged himself inside a home in Mount Pleasant.
Ashley Ugoletti's loved ones told Channel 11 they can't fathom why someone would do this to her.
"I'm hurt. I think we all are. She was such a good person,” said Patricia Benko, Ugoletti’s friend.

Ugoletti was found stabbed to death inside a College Avenue home.
Police say Nguyen Tran, who lived there with his mother, was responsible.
"Her mom called me, first thing she said was, ‘He killed my baby girl,’ and your world just stops," Benko said.

Benko is Ugoletti's best friend and former co-worker.
She spoke on behalf of her family and says Ugoletti was not dating Tran and that he was nothing more than her nail tech.
A Facebook picture from late July shows Ugoletti's' nails freshly done by him.
"We know she went to go get her nails done,” Benko said. “She was supposed to come back with groceries and she never came home."
Benko wants people to remember Ugoletti as a fun-loving, caring and adventurous person who loved her dog and the beach, not for her mistakes or past. She was a dancer at Blush, recently arrested in a prostitution sting.
She says she doesn't know exactly why Ugoletti was at Tran's home.
"No one has any control over what anyone can do, but I'm sorry that they have to go through this too," Benko said.
Channel 11 reached out to investigators about the motive in this case and at this point, it's still unclear.
