Fugitive suspected in deadly Pittsburgh double shooting arrested by U.S. marshals

PHILADELPHIA — A Pittsburgh man who was wanted for homicide was arrested Monday in Philadelphia, the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force announced.

Darryl Barnett is charged in connection to a Nov. 13 shooting in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood that killed a 29-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, authorities said.

U.S. marshals were given information that Barnett might be in the Philadelphia area, leading to his arrest about 7:30 a.m. Monday.
