Goose recovering after being shot by arrow

UNITY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A goose is recovering at the Youngwood Wildlife Facility after being shot by an arrow.

The bird was spotted this month near the Unity Township Municipal Building.

The goose is “incredibly lucky,” wildlife officials said.

The arrow missed the spine by a few millimeters.

It is unclear who shot the goose, but if caught, the offender could face state and federal charges.
