Two people were killed Thursday afternoon in a Butler County crash.
State police said two vehicles were heading in opposite directions on Route 68 in Summit Township around 2 p.m. when Jacob Bowser, 19, of East Brady veered his Chevrolet Impala into the eastbound lanes near Linwood Drive.
He hit a Dodge Ram driven by James Hipple, 50, of Sligo head-on, state police said.
Both men were taken to hospitals where they were pronounced dead, state police said.
Investigators don’t know why Bowser veered into oncoming traffic.
