PITTSBURGH — Looking for something you and your family can do safely? How about drive-thru Christmas light displays. There are several you can choose from in the Pittsburgh area.

Zoo Lights Drive-Thru (Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium)
According to the website, tickets are available only in advance. The cost is $60 per car, or $40 per car if you are a season pass member.
The Pittsburgh Zoo is offering holiday fun for the family that is also COVID-19 friendly.
Tickets are now on sale for the all-new “Zoo Lights Drive-Thru” — an event where families can drive through the zoo at night “while guided by a themed audio tour as thousands of environmentally friendly LED lights transform the park into an unforgettable winter wonderland.”
Holiday Laser Show
You and your family can celebrate the holidays with a drive-in laser show at North Park. The one-of-a kind 45-minute light show is synchronized with holiday music and you can see it all from your car.
The shows run Thursday through Sunday from Dec. 10 through Dec. 20 at the North Park Pool Lot. Allegheny County officials said space is limited and tickets are selling fast. Costs range from $15 to $25, depending on where you live and which day you go.

Christmas Light Up Celebration
The Christmas Light Up Celebration in Clinton, Pa. calls itself the best-kept holiday secret in Pittsburgh.
You can drive through and enjoy a one-mile experience of light displays in the woods.
The drive-thru display runs from Nov. 21 — Jan 3. The Light Up Committee suggests a $10 per car donation at the gate.
All proceeds benefit scholarships, charities and people in need.
Overly’s Country Christmas
This year, Overly’s Country Christmas in Greensburg will be drive-thru only. You can see the new lights display on their expanded route. According to their website, you can wave to Santa and drop off your letter. You can even listen to Christmas carols through your car radio.
The display runs from Nov. 19 — Dec. 30. It’s also open on Dec. 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30, but closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It’s open from 5:30 — 10 p.m., weather permitting.
The cost is $20 a carload. Watch out for the Grinch!
Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland
Drive through two miles of light displays, including a 300-foot drive-thru tunnel at the Big Butler Fairgrounds. The displays are synchronized with holiday music that you can tune in on your car radio.
The display runs from Nov. 13 through Jan 3 from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Sometimes they are open later on the weekends.
The cost is $25 on Sundays to Thursdays, $30 on Fridays and Saturdays. The cost is $30 every day from Dec. 11-27.

Winter Festival of Lights at Oglebay
Enjoy the six-mile drive of twinkling lights at the Winter Festival of Lights at Oglebay in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The display includes 1 million LED lights and 90 lighted attractions.
The display at Oglebay runs from Nov. 5 through Jan. 10.
Oglebay suggests a donation of $25 per vehicle.
Christmas in the Park
The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free event called Christmas in the Park. It’s the 13th year for the event. You can drive through Memorial Park and check out the lighted displays by businesses, organizations and families.
Nightly displays start on Nov. 27 and run through Jan. 2, from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.
