PITTSBURGH — Kennywood’s spooky transformation has begun for the all-new Phantom Fall Fest.
Starting Oct. 1, Phantom Fall Fest is looking for dozens of scare actors and food and beverage workers. Available positions start at up to $16 per hour.
“Phantom Fall Fest is an excellent opportunity for those wanting a flexible weekend work schedule,” said Joe Barron, Director of Human Resources at Kennywood. “Come join our scream team and help create the spooky Halloween atmosphere Kennywood is known for in the Pittsburgh region!”
In Ligonier, Idlewild and SoakZone is hiring more than 30 positions starting at up to $17 an hour for the park’s refreshed HallowBoo! event, beginning Sept. 25. Opportunities include trick-or-treating trail guides in Story Book Forest, food & beverage team members and ride operators.
Both parks will host job fairs on Sept. 15. Those interested can visit Kennywood from 4-6 p.m. and at Idlewild and SoakZone from 3-5 p.m. While attending the job fair, applicants can engage with park teams, enjoy tasty treats and get a behind-the-scenes look at this year’s Halloween events.
At Kennywood’s job fair, attendees who complete the application process will receive one free Phantom Fall Fest ticket.
Those interested can apply online any time at the park of their choice. At Kennywood, Phantom Fall Fest occurs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays the entire month of October, and HallowBOO! at Idlewild and SoakZone takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 25 – Oct. 31.
