SWISSVALE, Pa. — A moment of silence was held Friday for a 16-year-old Woodland Hills student who was found in a Swissvale park.

Micah Graham was a junior at Woodland Hills High School and a member of the basketball team.

Graham’s body was found in Les Gets Memorial Park off Church Street, an area where families gather for sports and parties.

“He was loved. He was respected. He was a great part of our school and our culture — a young man just trying to find his way and just enjoy life,” Woods said.

Woodland Hills High School Principal Phillip Woods addressed the community Friday via a Facebook livestream.

Woods urged other students to seek help, if needed, and said virtual support services were available.

“I know we got a lot of emotions, a lot of feelings and a lot of questions,” Woods said in the video. “I want to make it known that please do not grieve alone. Reach out to a friend. Reach out to an alumni. Reach out to a close relative.”

Allegheny County Police are investigating the shooting.

Anyone with information is sked to call 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
