CALIFORNIA, Pa. — The logo for the newly created Pennsylvania Western University was revealed Thursday.
The university consists of California, Clarion and Edinboro universities.
“I’m excited to introduce to you today PennWest California, PennWest Clarion, PennWest Edinboro and PennWest Global Online,” said Dr. Dale-Elizabeth Pehrsson, interim president of California.
Nearly 5,000 students voted on the new design. The logo will be prominently featured beginning this coming spring, pending approval.
