ROBINSON, Pa. — The movie experience will be a lot different this holiday season and we’re getting an inside look of the Cinemark theater in Robinson.

To limit crowds, the theater has staggered show times and reduced capacity to 20%. Also, each auditorium has its own air filtration system.

Guests will be spaced out in the theater and seats will be disinfected between every showing.

Masks are required and high touch areas will be cleaned every 30 minutes.

You can still buy fountain drinks at the concession stand along with your go-to snacks like popcorn and candy but due to covid-19, there will be no refills.

New films and several holiday classics, like Elf and It’s a Wonderful Life, will be on the big screens this winter.

And families can rent out the entire theater if they want.

“Cinemark started doing private watch parties so this is really special it allows guests to rent an entire auditorium for up to 20 people to watch the movie of their choice with the group of their choice,” said Caitlin Piper, a spokesperson for Cinemark.
