BUTLER COUNTY — Two people were killed in a murder-suicide incident in Butler County on Saturday.

Pennsylvania State Police said the incidents occurred between 1:15 and 2:15 p.m. Troopers responded to the West Sunbury Cemetery in Clay Township for a suicidal man, and found Charles Smith, 46, of Evans City, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A second man, Terry Bolan, 39, of Evans City, was then found dead at a home in the 100 block of Hillvue Lane, Forward Township, nearly 20 miles away from the cemetery.

Police said the investigation showed that Smith shot and killed Bolan before going to the cemetery and killing himself.
