TRENDING NOW:

Bartlett fatally stabbed Linda McGinnis, a neighbor on Ninth Street in Brackenridge, a woman the neighborhood called "grandma,” in December.

He stole her car and drove to West Virginia.  Channel 11 reported from the restaurant where he was captured two days later.

He told police he didn’t mean to kill McGinnis, that she didn’t deserve what happened to her, he just wanted a car to leave Pennsylvania and start over.

In exchange for Bartlett's guilty plea today, he was sentenced to 30-60 years in prison followed by seven years’ probation.
