PITTSBURGH — A man was shot in the torso in Friday afternoon in Homestead.
According to police, County 911 was notified of the shooting around 2:48 p.m. First responders rushed to the 200 block of East Sixth Avenue where they found the victim.
The man was taken to an area hospital and was in critical condition.
Homicide detectives are now taking over the investigation.
