PITTSBURGH — Police are searching for a man who is charged with sexually abusing two teenage girls, one of whom became pregnant.
Michael Taylor, 50, was dating a family member of the girls. Investigators said the abuse started after they moved from New York to Homewood and continued for years.
One of the girls, a 15-year-old, became pregnant. At the time, she told her family that a boy raped her at a party because “she was afraid of what Taylor would do to her or her mom if she told on him,” according to a criminal complaint.
The baby was given up for adoption.

One of the victims told investigators that “Taylor started giving her gifts and telling her that she ‘owed him one later,’” the complaint said.
In addition to sexually abusing the teenagers, police said Taylor filmed the girls while they were sleeping. One of the girls found hidden cameras pointing toward her bed while cleaning.
Taylor is charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors, indecent assault and invasion of privacy.
Taylor’s most recent address is listed in South Carolina.
