UNION TWP., Pa. — A New Castle man is wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police after they say he shot and killed a man in Lawrence County.
Markeace Devant Perkins, 25, is wanted on homicide and weapons charges after the shooting in the 300 block of Grandview Avenue, Union Township, that occurred on Feb. 16 at 4:49 p.m.
Union Township police initially responded and found Lamar Johnson, 32, of New Castle, dead outside a home with a gunshot wound. State police responded and through the investigation, Perkins was identified as the suspect.
Johnson was pronounced dead by the Lawrence County Coroner.
Police said Perkins left the scene with Khyana Johnson, 33, of New Castle. No charges have been filed against Johnson, but she is wanted for questioning.
Perkins has been placed on State Police Troop D’s Most Wanted list. Anyone with information to his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.
