Moshe Journo was charged with rape 15 years ago. He was arrested, posted bond and then used his passport to flee to Israel. Two years ago he was brought back to Pittsburgh after the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI worked with the Israeli government to find him.
The victim’s mother told Channel 11 at the start of the trial she was proud of her daughter and that her daughter felt empowered to finally tell her story.
