KISKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Investigators said a missing item sparked an argument that led to a shooting in Kiski Township.
Kiski Township Police said they were called late Saturday night for a report of a man who had been shot along Edmond Road. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
During the investigation, officers learned Patricia Kettering-Pierce, 55, was driving the victim when they got into an argument. She reportedly forced the victim out of the vehicle and shot him. The man managed to walk to a nearby home and get help.
After finding Kettering-Pierce at her home, officers found a grenade inside while taking her into custody. As a precaution, the Allegheny County Bomb Squad was called to the scene. The grenade was disposed of after it was found to be inert.
Investigators also found marijuana and methamphetamine in the house.
Kettering-Pierce was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and drug charges among others. She was taken to the Armstrong County Jail and has a court appearance scheduled for next week.
