WASHINGTON Pa. — Four people were arrested Friday after officials in Washington County searched three homes as part of a lengthy investigation.
Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force detectives and the Washington City police were involved in a several months-long investigation into the trafficking of heroin and crack cocaine in the Washington area. District Attorney Eugene A. Vittone said.

The suspects in the alleged trafficking operation were reported to be from the Chicago area.

As the result of this investigation detectives obtained three search warrants from the Washington County Court of Common Pleas. On Friday, the warrants were served at 595 Maple Ave., 595 ½ Maple Ave. and 103 Maple Terrace.
Officials confiscated crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, a stolen handgun, packaging paraphernalia and cash.
Police arrested Tedd R. Mitchell, 30, of Normal, Illinois; .Allysha L. Ford, 25, of Chicago; Jarrod M. Plummer, 27, who is homeless and believed to be from the Chicago area;
The three suspects were charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine, possession of heroin and cocaine, receiving stolen property and persons not to possess a firearm.
They were arraigned and remain in the Washington County Correctional Facility on $500,000.00 cash bond.
Adam Snatchko, 45, of Maple Avenue, was taken to the correctional facility on a state parole detainer.
Agencies that were part of the operation included three tactical teams, Washington Regional SWAT, Pennsylvania State Police SERT, Task Force Detectives, Pennsylvania State Police Troop B Vice Unit Troopers, Washington City Police Officers, Washington City Police K-9, Cecil Township K-9, North Strabane Township K-9 and Washington County Sheriff K-9 Units.
