More than 300 police, fire and EMS departments will receive federal funding for new radios

WHITE OAKS — More than 300 police departments, fire departments and EMS agencies will receive federal funding for new radios through the American Rescue Plan.

White Oak EMS Chief Paul Falavolito said an upgrade to their radio equipment would be helpful since most of their fundraising efforts had to be canceled because of COVID-19.
