PITTSBURGH — Residents who live in the Mt. Washington section of Pittsburgh are concerned a hillside could come crashing down.
The hillside is already crumbling in front of a condemned property on Belonda Street.
Neighbors told Channel 11 they are worried about women and children who walk along the busy road every day.
“There's a mother that come up here the other day, walking up with the stroller with two little babies, and they had to walk out onto the street around the barricades,” a neighbor said.

Much of the hillside has come down, pushing boulders onto others’ property, the sidewalk and the street.
Residents said the sewer used to be right up against the house, but it’s now sliding down the hill.
Residents told Channel 11 they’ve contacted the mayor’s office several times over the past year. Two months ago, the city put up barricades.
Residents said they want the area cleaned up so they can walk down the sidewalk.
Allegheny County property records show the house was bought in November. Channel 11 has put in calls to the owner, but hasn't heard back.
City code enforcement records show violations were found in September, October and November.
City officials got back to Channel 11 and said they are trying to get in touch with the new owner of the condemned home to take care of it so tax money won't have to be used.
In cases of imminent danger -- the city can step in and make repairs.
