PITTSBURGH — A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 376 near the Squirrel Hill Tunnel shut down traffic headed westbound.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday near Exit 74 (Squirrel Hill/Homestead), according to PennDOT.
After the accident, all lanes in that direction were closed as crews worked to clear the area. The roadway was back open by 11:30 p.m.
It’s unclear what led to the crash, but investigators said one person was taken to the hospital. They were not identified, and officials didn’t specify their condition.
