Newsroom staff at Pittsburgh Post Gazette votes to authorize union leaders to call strike

PITTSBURGH — Members of the union at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette voted to allow union leaders to call a strike.

They’ve been trying to negotiate a new contract and are upset about what they call unfair working conditions.

The union’s executive council and president still have to approve the strike.
