PITCAIRN, Pa. — Environmental specialists are clearing out a Pitcairn home where police discovered a suspected drug lab and materials for making explosives.
Police are still searching for the two people who lived at that home on Second Street.
David Klein and Allison Ober have not be seen since Monday when they were arrested and released from jail after being charged with endangering the welfare of a child and drug offenses.
According to the criminal complaint, a lab with hazardous chemicals was found on the back porch. The equipment was not in use at the time, so the area was deemed safe.
The couple's 4-year-old son was inside the apartment, police said. The child's grandmother is now caring for him.
A cleanup crew spent about two hours in the couple's third-floor apartment bringing out buckets of what police call non-hazardous, common household materials that could be used to create explosives.

"It doesn't surprise me in this day and age though, there's so much stuff going on," said neighbor Joann Helman.
"We couldn't get into our houses yesterday until 7 o'clock, which was pretty annoying," added Bobbie Jo Lloyd.
