PITTSBURGH — The City of Pittsburgh is getting a new marketing campaign.
VisitPITTSBURGH, the region’s official tourism marketing and promotion agency, announced the launch of “Only in Pittsburgh,” a new marketing campaign that aims to highlight the unique activities, attractions and sites that visitors to the city and its neighborhoods can expect. Think The Andy Warhol Museum, the Duquesne and Monongahela Inclines, the Great Allegheny Passage and others, the organization said.
The campaign will first target destinations within driving distance to the Steel City, with a primary emphasis being placed on the markets of Baltimore, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., among others. A more national expansion will roll out later this summer.
