CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. — A State Game Warden responding to a call of someone driving illegally on a lake on State Game Lands 269 found a car stuck in the ice and a driver “in a severe hypothermic state.”
According to the Game Commission, SGW Randy Crago was investigating the call in Crawford County when he found the car. Investigators found footprints leaving the car. They followed the prints, eventually finding the driver in need of immediate medical care.
Local EMS crews were called and were able to transport the driver across the lake using a six-wheeled utility vehicle. The driver was then taken to a nearby hospital.
